Ambience of a real fireplace without all the mess of burning wood!
I love the effect this electric fireplace gives without having to actually burn wood because it is real fireplace. The only thing I’m really disappointed about is the fact that it does not have a remote control like the one I have in my upstairs fireplace, which is a real fireplace as well. I actually have to physically turn it on with a switch and turn it off with a switch and then unplug it when it’s not in use, the one I have upstairs has a remote control so I can turn it on and have the effects and actually not have to use the heat part of it because I do not have an outlet in or around the fireplace it self without using an extension cord which I purchased with both of my units That says it is for use with something like this if I have to use an extension cord. But I do not use the heating element on either one because I don’t want to take the chance of it overheating and when I got the one upstairs I had a similar cord before I bought one like I bought with this one and we turned the heat on. I could feel the extension cord getting warm, so I don’t even use the heating element on either one of them , I just love the effect of having a fireplace
