It's much stronger than the wind moving a ceiling fan.
Bought this fan to use on our deck. We have a metal pavilion that moves a lot more air than a ceiling fan. I installed a plug in the corner of the gazebo to plug the fan in so that I could leave it plugged in and switch it on and off by pulling a wire. It's a little loud at high speed, but not too loud. The work was good, so decided to buy another one, happy!
Nice Product
I got this for my sons room. He was so used to the fan I have in my room that when it cane time to move him into his own room he would not sleep well. I also wanted something he could could not put his fingers into or pull down on himself. I will definitely recommend for thw living room or even the garage as well. It puts out great air flow and is pretty quiet.
