I was worried buying this with only 3.5 stars and 12 reviews but it is so fun and perfect for parties in the home. Everyone is in love with being able to do the mix of flavors. It works great with configurable hardness setting that makes perfect ice cream.

Easy to use and clean.We love this! been using it just at home, We bought a rolling kitchen cart to keep it on. When our kids have friends over to swim everyone always enjoys the bonus of ice cream. Adults all love it too. it's been a great buy, no issues.

Super easy to use! After filling it with the mix it only takes about 12 mins before your ready to serve ice cream!

Due to the virus, we had to think outside the box for our son’s grad party so we decided to throw an ice cream (un)social where cars can just drive up to the house and our son will take orders and deliver ice cream cones, sundaes or floats right to the car. We purchased this soft serve machine for the task. It is now our favorite new toy! Easy to set up, clean and use. We have tried several different ice cream varieties from liquid 6% milk fat from our local dairiette, to dry mix made with water and milk. We feel we get the best flavor/price combo with the carnival king brand 6lb mix - both the vanilla and chocolate taste great and can be mixed with 2 gallons of water or milk. Mixing with water gives it a little “icier”texture with weaker flavor, but is a good choice for a hot days since the holding chambers are not refrigerated. (Trust me, it doesn’t taste bad and is lactose free if mixed with water). However, if you can attend to the machine regularly or keep it out of the heat, using Whole milk with the mix is absolutely delicious. We have people wanting to rent this out all summer long for events so it was a wise choice for us to make the investment. Note : machine is very heavy and instruction manual is not super clear. If you read it and just think about the process it does make sense though.
