    We actually purchased this for our puppy. She only weighs 2 pounds, and has a hard time getting up to our recliner, so we thought this would help. It definitely does. She figured it out right away. The funny thing is, the grand kids love it as well! I know it's not meant for that, but why not. It's sturdy enough for them to sit on, and they think it's fun, so when they visit they end up sitting on the stairs. High quality. Built to last.
