Very convenient
Got this when my son switched from a crib to a bed. It’s high enough that even standing he can’t go over it. I’ve caught him sleeping wedged between it and his bed multiple times, and it’s never fallen. The retraction is also wonderful for getting him into and out of bed especially if he is already asleep.
Great Height
Amazing bed rail. Fit perfectly for the queen size bed. We had such a hard time finding a good height railing for our baby. I am so glad we found this one. It screws right into the bed frame. Easy to adjust height level to fit out mattress. Also. the rail itself is such a nice quality and easy to put up and down. Worth every penny in my opinion.

Have to rig it if you are using just one side
It's pretty flimsy for just one side panel However we couldn't find anything that fit our tall mattress. We used the bed side bassinet straps to make it right, and put a few towels and blankets in the gap between the bed. Our son is 7 months old and it's really sturdy after we modified it.. does the job, isn't the best looking

Loved the idea and it definitely keeps my child from rolling off the bed BUT its not very sturdy. The materials themselves aren't bad. The metal is pretty solid. As is the mesh. But as for the kids possibly standing up and using it to hold themselves up or if they push against the rail, it will absolutely tip. Despite falling instructions that were given, I don't think it's safe for older babies. Only ones that roll and crawl. So maybe 6months and under? If you still decided to get it, definitely look into reinforcing it yourself with your own bought stuff from HomeDepot or something. Better safe than sorry!
