Would this coop keep in two 50-60 lb. dogs? We live in the Sierra Foothills as well, with coyotes and mountain lions. Is the wire mesh/fencing strong enough to hold up?

Small dogs can use it.Big dogs like Alaska and Samoye can't.

The gate is needed to be installed by yourself, which is made of several parts (part#5, #6, #A, #C etc.) Then use the net (part#Q) to wrap the poles..

I am confused about the top of coop, does wire cover the entire top with UV covering over wire on approximately 1/3 of the back or is the top open, not covered with wire. Some pictrues appear to have wire some pictures appear to have no wire on the top.
