Perfect storage
My husband installed this into our garage ceiling for storage of our two bicycles. It is perfect because they are easy to have at hand when time for riding yet not taking up floor space in the small garage .

Works great, not for bike, but for model train layout in garage.
Save spaces in my garage
The product quality is excellent, and once the first one was completed, the process was simple. The brackets, pulleys, and mounts are all of high quality. If you're going to be transporting your bikes up and down for use on a regular basis, I'd recommend replacing the rope. The rope included in the box is a loosely braided nylon rope that works well.The rope is clamped down by the locking mechanism, and when the bicycles are raised, the cord flows through a small hole in a bracket within the mechanism. I imagine that with repeated use and rising to the same height, the rope will ultimately break down due to rubbing and pinching. In our case, the bicycles will be stored for long periods of time without a lot of lifting and lowering. Great product
They work.
I have 3 bikes hanging from the garage ceiling now. The 1st and 3rd lift hoists are about 6 feet apart, and all 3 bikes go up and down great. When installing on a ladder, it's nice to have a partner nearby.
