Wood Multi-Layer Platform Cat Tree with Scratch Resistant Rope

Instructions too small and hard to understand.

My cats are 13 , and 15 , both large and full of parkour abilities, so thought this would keep them moving. Easy instructions, with all tools provided for a construction time of aboutan hour. I did pre- purchase extra cat scratch mats , with tread , plus additional velcro adhesive , to add to those parts of the tree that had none. This alleviated any possibility of slipping when jumping. I simply cut the mat to size - it is not a esthetically beautiful, but, " some people have nice things, others have cats" I would rather have them be safe . I also used the foam corners that came with the packaging , to create extra roll over protection on top level. Placed in a corner , it is secure.

I love that it has no carpet. The mats are removable and washable. My cats love it. Now to dismantle the old one.

My cats could not wait for me to finish setting up this cat tree! I read a lot of the reviews about the instructions not being the best for putting it together so I was already mentally prepared for it arrived and just took my time and really drilled down on the pictures in the instructions. It was not too bad but in the long run this is an awesome and sturdy tree for our two cats. I put in in a window and they live in that all day long! Should have gotten this a long time ago!

Our cats were eating the carpet off their old tree, so we needed a carpet free alternative. They love it! The base piece arrived broken, likely due to shipping/delivery, but the seller responded very quickly and had a replacement piece here in no time. Assembly is a lot quicker with power tools! The instructions aren’t super clear, but if you can handle ikea furniture than this should be no problem for you. It’s a bit wobbly when the cats are jumping around, but also lighter than a tree with carpet and I suspect that’s the cause. It’s still sturdy enough to handle the two crazy kitties. They fit on it well together, and while it doesn’t look super comfy, they choose to nap there over a variety of options so it’s cat approved. Overall - 5 stars! No more carpet being thrown up overnight. And no more carpet shreds all over the house.
